When using them for crafts, it\u2019s the perfect time to educate your kids about recycling, reducing single-use plastic and foam packaging, and choosing food packaging that is 100% recyclable. Now that it\u2019s the fall season, we thought it would be the perfect time to come up with something a little different &#8211; a door-hanging wreath that is made completely from recycled paper egg cartons and colorful paints!<\/p>\n<p>This lively craft does take some time to cut out each individual egg carton cup and make them into flowers and then paint them. You may need a day to let the paint dry before assembling the wreath in its entirety. So it\u2019s best to set aside an afternoon to get started and then another hour or two to assemble. It is perfect for your kids to work on with an adult or to teach in an art class at school. Wreath:<\/h2>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><ol>\n<li>Use a pair of scissors to cut the individual cups and pointed centerpieces out of the egg cartons.<\/li>\n<li>Cut each cup and pointed piece into flowers by making a slit at each corner and then bending them outward.<\/li>\n<li>Create a wreath ring using large poster paper or cardboard and trace around a large plate for the outside of the ring. Use a smaller plate for the inside of the wreath and then cut it out along the traced lines.<\/li>\n<li>Paint the wreath ring. Let it dry.<\/li>\n<li>Paint the egg carton flowers in a variety of colors using paints that match the season. Let it dry.<\/li>\n<li>Once all pieces are dry, glue the flowers onto the cardboard ring using either hot glue or craft glue. Mix up the colors and types of flowers you\u2019re gluing down as you go.<\/li>\n<li>Using colored paper, cut petals out using scissors and place the leaves under the flowers using glue.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Are you ready for the fall season?
